I've been dying to try these types of shot for a wee while now; using spot lights on location. Got my chance at the Norton House Hotel, Edinburgh, a lovely place peppered with fantastic ceiling spotlights, on the 28th October 2006. Thanks to Debbie, the glamourous bride (and her willing groom Scott) who were both gracious and extremely giving with their time which in turn allowed me to experiment with different locations & ideas! As it happens, these were shot just outside the ladies room - sign edited out!

Don't know about the "glamourous bride" but it was the least we could do to let you try out some experimental shots and just wanted to let you know how much we love them, and I'm so excited and chuffed to feature in your blog!
