The sun made a glorious appearance for Monique & Paul's big day in the Scottish Borders! The fact that the wind nearly reached gale force proportions did nothing to dampen their tremendous enthusiasm to tie the knot and have a good ol' knees-up! It was a fantastic day for family and friends. And such an approachable and easy-going bride & groom! I think also the calming influence of Yvonne, Monique's sister & maid of honor, during the 'getting ready' stages helped set the perfect tone for the day. That relaxed attitude transmitted quickly throughout the entire wedding party and made for a real party atmosphere. I'm so glad that the photos reflect all that informality & fun.
