Re photography, I'm fully self taught; 12 years ago, a hobby evolved into a living and now into a passion. And even now, I can feel myself getting better & better with each wedding I photograph. I will never stop learning or being inspired nor do I ever WANT to.

The brightest torch of inspiration throughout my formative years, right up to the present day, is Gordon McGowan FMPA http://www.gordonmcgowan.co.uk/, one of the world's top wedding photographers and a fellow Scot to boot! There are not many on this planet that can hold a light to his keen sense of drama and his way of injecting raw passion into an already beautifully crafted wedding image. Some of my own best images have been affected by Gordon in some way. I draw from all the best photographers in the world but when I step back and look at my own work, Gordon's influence is very evident. Still going as strong as ever, Gordon continues to light the way. And I for one am extremely thankful.
