Photography Playtime with Rachel & Ian!

One of my favourite bride & grooms of all time - Rachel & Ian! I cannot believe I managed to talk them into yet another crazy 'Trash the Dress' session! You'd think they'd have learned their lesson by now. Seriously though, they are such good sports and so much fun. And Rachel deserved every bit of the standing ovation she drew from the gathered crowd after her frolick in the freezing river Forth. Full marks for her pink wellies too!

The focus of this particular outing was to give my team (Andrew T, Andrew W, Jodie) a chance to stretch their wings & imagination to the max. I personally love to shoot in a way that's very glamourous, very bold and really fun. And it's satisfying seeing my influences coming through in the images they take - it proves I'm not talking to myself :-) But it's even more fulfilling for me to see them take all that they've learned and give it their own individual twist.

I deliberately left my camera bag at home but (typical me) I just could not resist taking a few shots by hijacking Jodie's camera. Here are just a couple of previews from me & Jodie. The boy's images will follow. It just shows what you can do given an enthusiastic bride & groom and a lot of play time. Everyone should build in as much play time into their wedding day as possible! Oh and some water thrown in too. Please feel free to leave a comment :-)

Totally my fault Steve....I bullied them into me getting in the water! Didn't actually mean to be that far in but I'm not the most "outdoorsy" kind of girl and fell whilst in! These welly things are harder than 5 inch Jimmy Choos! Next time you will defo be in there with me! You too Mr Ho!

If it weren't for the fact that I was taking a back seat on the day, you'd be in the drink before we'd finished saying 'Hi' :-))
