SWPP 2008

Phew. Maybe sometime soon, life will slow down a bit! Flew back to Edinburgh from London at about 1.00am on Saturday morning. I was attending the SWPP 2008 convention (society of wedding & portrait photographers). It's just a fantastic annual get together and a great way to learn new stuff, listen to the people you admire and see what's new in the photography world. The day I stop wanting to learn about my profession and how to improve my craft will be the very day I retire (hopefully sometime in 2080).
I would have stayed until the convention's end with the rest of my team but I was pre-booked for what turned out to be an action packed full day's wedding at Dundas Castle on the Saturday. And what an enjoyable wedding that was! Not too many couples hit the town to go night clubbing with their guests on their wedding night - that will give you an insight to the kind of mad fun that everyone had at Jen & Michael's wedding (I'm a bit behind on blogging guys but expect a flurry of postings very soon)!

And today I had a fantastic http://www.manhattankids.co.uk/ photoshoot up in Perth. Caitlin (13) and Molly May (3) were absolute gems - real posers. I'll blog a few previews asap! And now (after resisting the temptation to catch up on emails whilst having my dinner on my lap) I'm going to take an hour off!
